[Abstract]
COVID-19 이후 수년간 우리는 그동안 경험해 보지 못한 변화의 한 가운데 놓여 있습니다. 하지만, 이러한 변화 속에서도 반도체 산업은 지속 성장해 왔고, 이제 AI 기술의 발전과 함께 새로운 성장의 기회를 갖게 될 것으로 기대됩니다. 이러한 상황에서 예견하기 어려운 변화들에 대응하기 위해 무엇을 준비해야 할 지가 중요할 것입니다.
이번 강의에서 우리는 메모리 혁신의 여정을 공유하며, AI 시대를 헤쳐 나가기 위해 우리가 갖춰야 할 역량이 무엇인지 이야기 해 보려고 합니다.
먼저 여정의 시작은 기술 혁신의 연속성을 어떻게 유지할 것인가로 시작하려고 합니다. 새롭게 나타나는 난제를 알아보고, 이를 극복하고 개발 연속성 유지를 위한 platform을 제시하려고 합니다. 이와 함께 computing paradigm 변화에 대한 대응을 위해 준비가 필요한 memory-based convergence solution에 대해 소개하려고 합니다. 마지막으로 새롭게 대두된 고객 요구인 ESG의 중요성을 이해하고, 어떻게 일하는 방식의 변화를 해야 할 지에 대해 다루려고 합니다.
In the last few years after the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are in the midst of changes that we have never experienced before. However, at the same time, the semiconductor industry has continued to grow, and now it is expected to have new growth opportunities as AI technology advances. Given the situation, it will be important to know what to prepare in order to respond to changes that are difficult to predict.
In this talk, I will share the journey of memory innovation and the core competencies memory companies should have in order to navigate in the AI computing era.
First of all, the journey begins with how to maintain the continuity of technology development. We would like to identify emerging challenges and present a technology platform for overcoming those challenges and maintaining continuity of tech. development. Along with that, a memory-based convergence solution will be introduced to get ready for changes in the computation paradigm. Finally, this journey will arrive at the ESG, a newly emerging customer requirement. We will understand the importance of ESG and how to accordingly change our way of working.
