* Low-energy forward osmosis (FO) desalination technology
* Application: Water tank, Water purifier filter
2) Functional textile with nanoparticles
* Metal nanoparticle surface treatment textile for antimicrobial and aesthetics purpose
* Organic/Inorganic implanted textile for preventing hazardous chemicals (i.e. VOC)
* Application: Antimicrobial textile, Fashion material, Filtration material for hazardous chemicals (i.e. filters and masks)
3) Nanoparticle-encapsulating organic/inorganic hybrid materials free of dioxins emission
* Organic molecular nanotube for sensing and eliminating radionuclide
* Hyperbranched polymers for replacement of endocrine disruptor plasticizer
* Application: Polymer with weak environmental load, Soft PVC without endocrine disruptors
4) Porous ferrite for high decomposition of CO2
* Mesoporous anoxia ferrite for high decomposition of CO2
* Application: Large/Small sized Incinerator, Exhaust pipe from automobiles2. Clean Energy Materials1) Development of hybrid gel-solid polymer electrolytes for rechargeable lithium batteries
* Viscous impregnated porous polymer electrolyte oligomer: excellent ionic conductivity and electrochemical safety
* Application: Lithium batteries (Laptop, Cell phone, Electronic Vehicle, etc.)
2) Nanoparticle induced membrane for methanol fuel cell
* Organic/Inorganic hybrid membrane: Improving proton conductivity and methanol crossover
* Application: Fuel cell driven automobiles, Portable minute sized electronics (Laptop, Cell phone, PDA, MP3, etc.)
3) Dye-Sensitized Solar Cell multi-layer TiO2 electrode
