This is Yuka Maeno, Academic Collaboration Office, National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS), Japan.
Thank you for your continuous cooperation in our program to foster young scientists.
I am writing to inform you that the International Center for Young Scientists (ICYS) , NIMS has started accepting applications for the first ICYS Research Fellow position for FY2023.
ICYS is looking for young researchers with original ideas to work independently in the excellent research environment of NIMS on various materials.
Qualifications: Have a PhD obtained within 10 years or expect to get a PhD by the date of appointment.
Duration of contract: 3 years under the initial contract, up to 5 years depending on annual evaluation.
*The maximum contract term depends on work experience at NIMS.
